The hotel was designed by kitesurfers for kitesurfers, professionally built and opened on 26.12.2019.
Located 35km from Fortaleza International Airport in Cumbuco, it is not 50m to the beach – directly at the KiteSpot! Between the KiteSpot with white sandy beach and the hotel there is only a beach bar with free compressor. The grand final of the Kitesurf World Championship takes place less than 500m down the beach. You can kite there and come back kiting! In the high season from July to December, the probability of kiteable winds is well over 90%. The hotel is perfect – but not only – for kitesurfers!
To the center it is about 500m. Cumbuco offers a wide range of restaurants with -among others- Brazilian, German, Mediterranean, Asian and French cuisine. Numerous kite and beach shops are also on site.
Even if we offer our own parking free of charge, a car is not really necessary when staying in our house.
In addition to the very good kite facilities, Cumbuco also offers a lot away from kite sports: A ride or a trip with the quad bike on the beach? … or a trip by buggy to the dunes, incl. Zip rope slide into the freshwater lake? …. or maybe rather a nice day in the event gastronomy “Chico do Caranguejo Cumbuco”?… or the relaxed version: a drink in one of the numerous beach bars followed by a massage?! … also a day trip to the nearby metropolis Fortaleza with its numerous cultural and shopping offers and the largest waterpark in South America called “Beach Park” is possible at any time.

Finally, a word about our philosophy: Our goal is to combine sustainability with comfort. Some sensors and intelligent systems help, for example, avoid wasting electricity without compromising comfort.
The water is heated in an environmentally friendly way with a solar system, so that we can offer one-handed mixers in the showers to regulate the water temperature perfectly. The grey water from the showers is collected as well as rainwater in an underground cistern and used to irrigate the garden. It can also be used to wash the kite equipment.
The usual disposable utensils in Brazil (plastic dishes and cutlery, individial sugar packets, etc.) are reduced to the max…
…and certainly we separate our garbage and send it to local recycling facility.
